i have read every page, and i re-read the first 7 pages b4 my last comment to make sure what i was saying is the way i have comprehended it.

yeah is is a message board but you are now in a position where u are not faceless and ppl, such as myself, will judge you on what u right, i still think u have the right to have a go back, not just be abused, but theres a better way to go about it.

i will leave it now anyway, i didnt want to reply in this thread as it was incase i endede up with a new signature/avatar but felt compelled after being called perculiar by some i have met for 30seconds.

You misunderstand Alex, I know I am not faceless. I refer to the brave and mighty abusers, those who hurl comment without thought or balls come to think of it.

Explain how to go about it in 'a better way' please?

If someone comments on a dJ's Djing, even if it is insulting,it shouldn't turn into a slanging match. A club DJ should accept they are in the public eye and are there to be judged, listen to what people say and either ignore or take on board these comments. You don't see David Beckham start arguing with away fans when he goes to take a corner.

I am not Beckham and I am certainly no ones punch bag. But this seems to be going round in circles, people just keep coming back to the tired old excuse that I should meekly take all abuse and ride it out. Fuck that shit. How about if I start commenting on peoples personal lives and careers on the message board? Pulling apart their professional life? It would not go down very well.

Another thing, I notice how quickly people just love to barge into threads like this in an effort to look cool and commanding. How very boring your existence must be if the pinnacle is popping at your local DJ. The fickle British clubbing public, you’ve got to love them for their warped sense of authority.

But you haven't really had much stick.In fact most comments against you have only been as retaliation to insults you've made.

If you didn't want your career to be judged then you shouldn't have become a dJ,its part and parcel of the job (I'm talking about professional judgement here rather than personal stuff).

PS Surely the whole point of a message board is that people can comment on any topic they wish to or do we now have to seek permission before posting on certain threads

Again, who are you to say that my career should be judged? Who are you; a world ranking DJ? A record lable owner? A huge club owner? Some one who has even been in the music or entertainment business? Or are you just a punter getting his oar in because its a message board and you don’t have to stand face to face to spout your words?

Of course people can comment Tomas, it is a free country and I enjoy the banter, but, and I hope this is the last time I have to repeat this, if they make adverse comments I will respond in kind. Can you understand that or not?

Once again Alex, read the thread properly. You obviously didn't.

The thread is entitled Tune 0f 2003. I voiced my opinion regarding the track, and what followed was good-natured banter, for a few posts at least, until things, as they always do on message boards, quickly turned to personal insults.

Please quote the post and name the DJ I allegedly slate, according to your post on the crasher site, who I am warming up for. That is pure fantasy on your behalf Alex.

As for a shallow genre, what do you listen to Alex? Country and western? Girls Aloud? Jazz fusion? Hip-hop? R’n’B?

As for being constructive, what on earth do you think every post I have made has been? I have replied in a similar manner to those who have made comments towards me. Do you know of another method of constructive argument that I am not aware of, or anyone else for that matter.

I did like Beni when it first came out, it just seemed to rock everywhere.
Lee Caberra(SP)-Shake it, was good as well.

cummon people its only a message board, everyone should be allowed to say what they want, and be prepared for criticism if they have opinions, just cos hes a dj doesnt mean he cant have an opinion or an argument, im not taking sides i just thought id have my say. Its a message board it would be boring without the banter dont give what ya can't take :chill:
