well my circumstances were somewhat different, due to a fuck up by the medical staff I was discharged from the forces because they damaged me for life.

for starters if you can afford to avoid all these fucking personal injury specialist / accident helpline etc.. type law firms then do so as they are a run by cunts with no real interest in your well being or in even getting a fair amount of compensation for you.

go and see a reputable firm and if your case is so clear cut which from the facts you present it appears to be, then they will usually agree to take your case on a no win, no fee basis. you will have a much better class of solicitors working for you, and you are substanstially more likely to get a fairer amount of compensation.

i would reccomend Russel, Jones, & Walker who have offices on Grey Street. they are consistently the best statistically in accident & injury claims year in year out.

the likelihood of your claim even going to court is very slim, hospitals will usually always settle out of court for negligence claims with a view to as little publicity at all over the event.

don't get me wrong, i'm not saying he is automatically gonna get compensation, just want to make sure he goes and see's the right kind of people to help him out.

a decent law firm will tell him whether he has case or not with a view to all the facts. lawyers are real bad losers and hence are less likely to take your case on if it has no chance of winning, rather than taking it on and losing.
