"Hitler" on C4 last night. Good show but ruined by the thought of if this madman succeeded Joe would not exist. Maybe Arnie was right?
hitler mm yes dodgy mustache ... biggest fascist to ever walk the earth ... madman, lunatic, the anti christ , a bloke with a rather large chip on his shoulder oh but hey a hear he;'s a good public speaker ... Had this man won then life would be intolerable.... we would have become a planet of blonde haired blue eyed robots .... he hated jews, negros, muslims, anyone basically different to his idea of the master race .... a mean think of the poor ginger people being led to die .... oh the horror.... The sad thing is that some people shared his views then and some still do now .... ... Ghandi wud of kicked hitlers ass anyway
Ended up watching it through, even though it was full of propaganda with unrealistic stuff about Hitler. From a history point of view it was quite interesting though - since i did history back at school.... and studied this stuff. Will watch the other one when its on - anyone know when the next part is on?
I watched a dog get panned over the head whilst running away with an little pup it had been biting What a hero.. I hate seeing animals getting hit.
Didnt watch it but seen read about in the papers and its quite scary how much Robert Carlyle looks like Hitler
hate to be picky but hitler was not a fascist, he was a national socialist mussulini(bad spelling) was a fascist
hate to be picky but Hitler was not a socialist by any definition of the term. He was a fascist though
yeah he wasn't a socialist, they added the term socialist to the workers party to get the trade unions and the working class's to vote for them, hitler had no plans for redistributing wealth, he was an empirialist if anything. but he hated the term socialist, so he put national infront of it to disguise it.
they are very similar but hitler was a national socilist Word History: It is fitting that the name of an authoritarian political movement like Fascism, founded in 1919 by Benito Mussolini, should come from the name of a symbol of authority. The Italian name of the movement, fascismo, is derived from fascio, “bundle, (political) group,” but also refers to the movement's emblem, the fasces, a bundle of rods bound around a projecting axe-head that was carried before an ancient Roman magistrate by an attendant as a symbol of authority and power. The name of Mussolini's group of revolutionaries was soon used for similar nationalistic movements in other countries that sought to gain power through violence and ruthlessness, such as National Socialism hold on theres more
national socialism n : a form of socialism featuring racism and expansionism Fascism A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls, suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism. A political philosophy or movement based on or advocating such a system of government its a common misconseption but hitler was a national socialist not a fascist
so you don't think this sounds like Hitler and the Nazi party then??? I dont give a shit whether he called himself a National Socialist or not, he was a fascist plain & simple. The term National Socialist never existed (as far as I know) before Hitler coined it, and as johnty says was probably just to appeal to the working class at a time when socialism was the strongest political force in Europe
