How was it?

what the new club like?

It was a really good night!

The Republic hasn't really changed that must, just a couple of railings gone and now you can't go up to the top level because of the VIP area!

Solar Stone were class like normal!

PVD started very well with some quality trance, then he died a death in the middle of it, then came back at the end with some banging techno tunes!

Marco V was a bit poor in his first half, then came good in the second, whilst playing some of his own tunes, i.e. Indicator!

Matt H and Bond were a bit weird like, the music and lights went off twice when they were on, due to some sort of electric fault, and they didn't really get it going IMO, quite a shite end to the night personally!

All in all a class night out, made a whole lot better by a certain female on this board!

I'd love to hear Van Dyk's trance sets ending with a bit techno.

i know he has the hair of a woman, but I'm sure he is all man under his Victorian dress!

And I mean banging, really, really hard, but it was class, the place was rocking! (Please do not go on about how Sven Vath, etc are the only hard techno djs, etc cause I don't give a fuck)

what a night, i was totally smashed at one point like cant remember the first hour i kept shutting my eyes and when i opened them kept forgetting where i was!! i loved solarstone PVD and Marco V, scott and matt were ok like but didnt get me going (except a few blinding tunes)

Well, had a WICKED nite!!! Im so suffering now tho. :spangled: Bus down was well funny!! I talk some shite like! Crasher totally didnt look like I thought it wud, but then again, I dont know wot I expected.

The DJs were good. Thought Solarstone were a bit bland TBH. Good DJin, but too bland trance. PvD, again, was good but did nothing special for me. Miller, Im telling u, Im sure he played 'For an Angel'. Marco V played some blinders! Indicator, Indicator!! Loving it!! Matt Hardwick was MINT! Scott Bond was SHITE. Except he played 3rd Earth. Was quite funny wen music went off, DJs jus looked dumbstruck! I really need to find out what that sing-songy trance tune that was played twice. Its excellent!!

Me neither. I love it when Trancey DJs do it though, it makes a change. Tiesto does it in and out of his sets but I guess he plays proggy stuff too sometimes.
