    does anyone know what the best program is to records from your decks to ur pc in mp3 format?

    Programs like Sound Forge or Cool Edit will do the job. Personally prefer Sound Forge out of those two.

    Aye just use soundforge - make sure in your sound properties (recording bit_ u enable linein tho - as sometimes its set to mute as default...

    iv got cool edit n recorded my first set onto computer using it, but the program saves the set in mpeg2 rather than mpeg1 layer 3. I had to then download a converter to change the format. So dont use cool edit.

    there is an MP3 plug in for cool edit if you get an older version.

    the new versions you can save it as am MP3 anyway...
