i just got a flyer pack type thing from the teesside union for freshers week and it says on sat 20th september that they have a night on with cheap drinks and special guest dj yoda!!!!!

do you think there is any chance this could be the man himself??

i really hope not cos it's the same night as crasher and i would cry my eyes out if he was in boro and i couldnt go!!

are there 2 DJ yoda's???

isnt there a techno dj called dj yoda though too...or he may be drum n bass...im sure he's played at northumbria before

theres the hip-hop DJ and a Hard House/hard trance DJ aswell, the hip-hop DJ played the uni not too long ago

If its on freshers week then only freshers maybe ablt to go :evil: when it was our freshers week at newcastle all freshers had wristbands given and it was very strict that noone else could get into any of the frshers events, duno if teeside will be the same tho????!

i asked my mate who works at the uni an she said it is THE dj yoda, but she don't really know much bout music so it could be any dj yoda i suppose...

Its piss easy getting into the union at teesside in freshers week. 2nd and 3rd years dont start till the week after and hence have no official way of obtaining a nus card till then so all you do is say u havent got it yet. This works for freshers any way cos they dont start getting theres till the wednesday.

For Manchester's Fresher's Week they've got Prime Cuts DJing!! Nice way for me to start uni life!

hes at the world famous man met union, quite possibly the worst venue in manchester, but it will b piss-cheap pints n loadsa the fresh out!

jon carter was there last yr, they seem2 have a habbit of putting the big name dj on 1st then an absolutely gash resident on afta, which is a good excuse for gettin outta there n headin2 sumwhere decent!
