Traveller - September Dunno if i saw this correctly. But as i was walking past Munchies II yesterday i spotted a poster for Traveller. (shudda stopped to have a proper look!) And i swear it said they had Tom Middleton and Etienne de Crecy playing. Can anyone confirm this? Im assuming its September. Does anyone know the exact date? This sounds like a class night.
Yeah i seen another poster today and looked at it properly this time. Its on the 19th September. Should be a good warm up for Crasher / Jon Carter @ Shindig (whichever i decide on)!
traveller september 19th A late reply to the post I know... Yes, we have Etienned de Crecy AND Tom Middleton on September 19th. If you are unsure of quite how influential they have both been in club music then go to www.travellerclubnight.co.uk/lineup/sept.asp Also not forgetting THIS Sunday, Traveller's first excursion at the new WHQ with Radio 1's Gilles Peterson doing a special one-off 'Back-2-Bck' set with DJ Raj Pannu. Again, expect all sorts and if you have an open mind you would be mad to miss...
*BUMP* The date is nearing. Anyone thinking of going? Best line-up in Foundation on a Friday in good while.
Ettiene de Crecy was quality. Got techier and techier as the night went on. Didnt get to see much of Tom Middleton in the back room. Went in for 10 mins and he was playing a lot of breaks. But had to go back out cos i was enjoying Ettienne a lot more. Nobody else go?
i did, seen etienne before and he was a lot frencher, enjoyed his set, but the man of the night for me was mr middleton, thought he was class good night though, a guy called gerald at the next one, in an acid house stylee
