....nah I think Airwave deserved to played that many times...since I've started goin to GC it has always been my (and many others) Crasher choon!!! Always reminds me of all the amazing times I've had in the Republic!!!! :D:D:D:D:D

Anyone read the article in the free 'Metro' paper today!! It was Richard talking about his residency and this Friday!! He goes on about he loves building his set and getting the crowd ready for the headliner. Part of it reads:- ..Tulip reckons that it's simply about his love for playing music to a crowd.
Music that he is passionate about, of which he's certain that a dance-floor packed with with eager punters will be equally as enthusiastic. And this week, with no big name distractions, he can play all those Promise progressive and trance favourites (including all those elusive big tunes) to his heart's content.
'These quieter nights usually have the best atmosphere too,' he reveals. 'We get a mix of people who are really dedicated to the club rather than the kind of punters who are more likely to follow certain DJ's around the country. And, really, they're my crowd, so I know them inside out.
'I can play the whole night and start with the deeper progressive stuff then get a bit harder before I finish things off with banging trance. It's a style that really works at Promise and can incorporate a lot of different sounds. It also means that the night builds, unlike the clubs that are solely progressive house which have started to tuen a lot of people off lately because it's just so monotonous.
'I'll admit that, over the summer, we became a bit like that ourselves,' he says. 'To be honest, I forgot that it was just about providing a good night for the crowd rather than trying to educate the dancefloor with a particular type of music. Now the stuff that I play is still what I'd class as intelligent dance music but it's really driving and keeps things moving.'

All in all a fookin wikkid night to look forward to this Friday methinks!!! :D:D:D:D:D

dont get me wrong magpie airwave for me is one of the best tunes in the world ever and reminds me of when i first got the disco-tech cd and stuff and how much i wanted to go to crasher but i think tunes should be kept special and playin airwave 3 times in one nite was maybes a bit too much!

sayin that though if it dont get played 2mora nite i'll cry!
