Barclays have more fees than any other bank.

Its only whenb things go wrong with your account/payments or you need help from the bank that you notice things like customer service...

yeah probs... they don't charge me much when i go over my overdraft, but i think thats cos i'm always puttin money in aswell as takin it out...

they do have the genius idea of puttin your inet memb number on a credit card thing, but the numbers rub off it:dunce:

an then you have to ans loadsa q's about your self an your account before they'll send you out a new one...

iF YA TELL ME WHICH UNI YOU ARE GOIN TO, MITE BE ABLE TO HELP, USED TO WORK FOR A BANK...SO KNO A BIT!!

As for opening two accounts, you can only really get away with it if you apply at the same time for both of them!!

Overdrafts are so much better than credit cards!! :p

Or just sign up to egg card or virgin for interst free on balances!!! Then just transfer the balance when they are about to start charging interest to another company similar!!!
Dodgy goings on....but worth it!!! :D

Well, you want to sign up with bank in the city centre, cos the outside ones are shit, plus city ones have special student advisors!!

Barclays are mint for big overdrafts, ups each year, that who im with!! But sign up for telephone banking and online banking so you can get stuff sorted outside opening hours!!

Lloyds TSB are pretty good too!!! Treat you well!!

As i said ensure you open them at the same time!!! if you want two overdrafts!!

And remember be strong...say no to credit cards and get signed up with Egg or Virging for a good deal!!!

Hope that helps mate, if you need any more info let me know!!

Last piece of advice...steer clear of Natwest  they will add charges for everything they can...i shud know!!

one piece of advice... only get one overdraft an no store/credit cards unless you a really good at controlling yourself!

an if you spend all your money then be poor an don't go out for a bit, or you'll have to work shitloads an it aint fun earning when you can't spend it...

oh an your summer job will not pay off your overdraft, it will pay for a mint summer :D

beans on toast for every meal aint that bad mate... hehe
