Resistance - 2nd August 2003 After the success of last week when Antony Daly and Justin Mills rocked the basement with their trademark techno/electro sounds we are pleased to be joined this Saturday by the deepdownDirty residents Lee Brent Miller, John Walker and Scot Nicolson. After ditching their weekly slot at Eygpt Cottage to concentrate on more bigger, one-off events their first was an all-day, outdoor gig at the quayside's Boat Club and what with a cominbation of great weather and quality music the whole day was enjoyed by all. Keep your eyes and ears open in the near future for more gigs from these lads, another one at the Boat Club and one at the Tyne Pub are coming up sometime in August. What a night!!! Cheers to everyone who came down last night, hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. Thanks to the Resistance lads for letting us play, much appreciated. Got very messy near the end ,but it was all good!

Big thanks to every one who came down last night. If you didn't, what can I say you missed out big time. Definately the best one yet, and only been the 3rd things can only get bigger don't no about better! Big thanks to the deep down dirty boys (lee, jonny and scott) who help contribute to the evenings activity's. lee and jonny both playing qaulity sets and scott, well can only be described as rocked the fucker. He had the dance floor bouncin. The place was well busy all night and every seemed to well enjoy it (especialy lee), once every one had a few drinks and what ever esle the dance floor got going and it didn't stop till after2.30. the place was rockin. Good music, good atmosphere all night. For everyone who missed out, don't miss the next one! Cheers also to gareth and lee

Nice one boys. Cheers again to the Resistance chaps for another outstanding night. Glad I was DJing first cos after about 9 o'clock I had trouble standing up. I'm told I had a good night along with everybody else, I just wish I could remember the fuckin thing. Anyhoo. Don't forget about THE TYNE on Sunday. Should be a nice sophisticated affair with no messiness (aye, reeto) and it'd be class if as many of the people at Resistance on Saturday could show, cos everybody contributed to the atmosphere. What a bunch of sound folk. So get your disco pants on and we'll see you there from 5.
