    My attitude

To all the people who have placed comments on this thread!
If have you met me think i have an attitude problem, then fair comment. I appoligise for making a bad impression.
I would happily say that taking my position at promise is the best thing that has happen to me, and to be honest i still can't believe it. If people think that at the club im not giving them enough time to chat im sorry. Talk to me away from the club and you can my undivided attention. At the club im at work and have a job to do. This does not just mean DJING!!! Im there to make your nights go as smoothly as possible. If i seem pre-occupied its not because im arrigant, it because im working.

SONIC - Fuck your sign!!! Your own common sense should tell you getting on someone's shoulders on a dancefloor that may be a bit wet with people dancing all over is DANGEROUS!!! and when you have got a resident DJ pushing you over that makes it more DANGEROUS than a game of SONIC The BLEEDING HEDGEHOG!!! I would imagine that 1 or both of the people involved would have been off there rockers on drugs @ the time now thats not being SAFE!

hehe i think that there should be a do not tresspass sign on the dj booth for the next promise...

just cos you don't seem to know whats gonna hurt u an what isn't doesn't mean any1 else doesn't...

by your argueing and reasoning skills i'm amazed that you've managed to get on the internet... for that i say well done sir, you must be very proud of your achievement...

look i don't know what bullshit they are feeding you at university but a sign does not disqualify you from blame if it's your fault, it can be used to limit liabilty as long as what you seek to limit is reasonable. If it is your fault, it is your fault, simple!

A sign changes nothing and people being on each others shoulders is obviously an act they choose to particpate in totally of their own free will and any damage incurred is inherent of the act. who exactly do you think the tortfeasor would be in such a case, i am dieng to know????

well read the past post then, about the bit if she had of reacted to the way the way he swung his right arm at her in a mannor which looked like he was trying to back hand her?

P.S i dont know this girl at all, me and my girlfriend saw it and were quite apalled! just incase anybody thinks im sticking up for a friend.

    same kettle of fish....

mark was not trying to get "the clown" down as you refer to her as, in the incorrect way!!!

If you were in town, and a doorman said F**K off to you and swang his arm which looked like he was attempting to hit you or push you, you would no doubt call him more then an asshole and if injured through it take it further?

the original post however seems to be changing into a whole different subject!!!!!!!! its a disscusion, not a play ground. Just reply to the original post and keep it at that before anyone starts getting upset, no point in that happening is there?

    cattle prods.....

    are clearly the solution!

need to stand alongside marky (or whoever is playing) and zap the idots each time they climb up!

by simple math, they will soon stop, either thru choice or being unable to climb!

    sorted :D

Just to throw my 2 cents into this.. Mark Maitland is a pretty sound guy who gets on with his job and entertains the crowd, (and half-decent footballer..) - anyone who says he's got an attitude problem has only seen a snapshot of who he is in a club environment and has no right to say he has an attitude problem.

To be honest I've seen a few of these kind of threads kick-up over the years on numerous message boards - to quote one sucessful but deceased DJ.
"It's like that.. and thats the way it is.."

Maybe even put some signs up at the bar, "Buy alcohol and you may become drunk". That should stop all the climbing ;)

i have deduced from todays discussion that sonic.

a.) doesn't have the capacity to understand and interpret the literal meanings of law as it is taught, to use a cliche the law is not black & white it is very very grey!!!!

b.) his tutors are on crack.

    c.) he likes signs.
