Anyone been to Tenerife ??

They were on about shutting Veronica's to give it a refurb when we went last December, in all honesty it's a shit hole!

There's two main bars 'Ministry of Sound' and 'Sound of Cream' which are blatently ripping off the two British clubs, yet they're nothing to do with them! When we went they played dance compilations tho so all was not too bad!

It's okay if your out on the hoy, wouldnt wanna do it every night tho!

i got very pissed in both of them nearly every night along with the "waikiki beach fun pun"

I used to work out there about nine years ago. The place was OK back then. There were some "OK" clubs, you had Bobbies and Busbies, the Pyramid Bar etc. There was another drinking area away from the strip called "the Patch" which was alright for a few waters.

Me g/f used to work in a karaoke bar right next to the Police Station, the local cops did not take kindly to pissed up wackoes, they used to leave the station drenched - after gettin the fire hose.

We'd not been there long, we were standing at the entrance bar at Busbies, me, g/f and another girl we were stayin with, this bloke tried it on with our friend, turned out he owned or managed some of the bars there, including Bobbies and Busbies!! After that we never paid for another drink in either of them

Ah yes, what a location, was fuckin mad in there!

Anyway, personally, I really like Tenerife, not Las Americas cos I have never been over there for the clubbing etc but for somewhere to go and chill it is great. Loads of nice food places in Los Christianos too which keeps me happy!

Aye like i say i do love the place but wouldn't go to the south again. I was there in January but went to the north to puerto de la cruz. weather's not usually so good up there, still canny like, but its a lot more quiet and peaceful than the south.

took a hire car down to the south one day and as i pulled up in the puerto colon marina i bumped into a lad i used to work with......7 years ago!!!!
