    Um, nope :oops:

    I'm just being a cunt tbh, ignore me.

    Bookings-wise though, what I said above is true.

    Newcastle is a party city not a clubbing city!!! A good night out is not about how long the bars are open its about the vibe of the night.

    To be fair about Liverpools culture bid they wouldnt have even been the North Wests choice if Manchester had of wanted it.

    So which parts of the Liverpool bid did you like?
    Or are just keeping you anti-Newcastle stance going?

    Alex mate thats fine, every city has its problems and scalls, plus you know as much as i do the number and diversity of nites and the reasonable prices to get into places. In response to scallies just walkin around eldon square u c them but walk down lords street (liverpool) and its the same.every city has them. Im just raging with the stereotypical image liverpool has and the people who jump on the bandwagon about the reputation has of liverpool being full of thieving bastards.Spat@cus mate my 4 year degree has now finished and i am goin back. i love newcastle as a city and its emergence of culture and expanse (the gate, bridge,baltic) but in the end we won and for some people up here its a case of SOUR GRAPES!!!!

    The fact that a possible 14, 000 jobs can be created now that liverpool have won.

    A possible £200m in tourism can be made in the run up to 2008.

    And extra £2 billion investment in the culture sector.

    There would be an extra 1.7m tourists to liverpool each year making upto £50 extra spending in the city.

    And the reason i want liverpool to win is cause i am a scouse not that i am anti-geordie.

    LIVERPOOL = CULTURE

    The only city in the UK to have a world heritage site
    One of the most scenic and beautiful waterfronts in the WORLD
    The most art centres and museums of any Uk city outside of London.
    One of the only cities to have a spare cathedral
    cleared that up then. What time is everyone going then 2nite!!!!!
