Program on Doormen on ITV last night. Did anyone see that program about Bouncers (now called Door Supervisors) in Sunderland. IT was all about how Bouncers are now caring people who would rather defuse a situation than beat someone to a pulp. All very nice & good. I used to manage a bar in Sund and some the doormen featured. New men? no longer thugs?!! hahaha!! Someone them could hardly speak. Meat heads!
coz he used to do the doors round south shields and i've spoken to him quite a few times but can't remember his name.He's a canny lad
A lot of Suderlands doormen rotate with Shields. Not many do that with Toon tho. Toons a diffo ball game!
yeah, the toon's doormen are much better.handle situations better and not stuck so far up their own arses that they forget who they are
Most of the doors in Newcastle at the moment are ran either in house which Ultimate Leisure do with most of their premises or by Phoenix Security, the rest or managed by small local doorfirms.

how bout a new reality TV show called THE DOORMEN,where cameras follow round a bunch of bouncers and stuff.but theres rules like if you can pull a 13 year old you get £100,or£££ for how many of the conviscated drugs you actualy neck round the backdoor. And if you can beat the fuck outta someone for looking at you the "wrong way" and said he attacked you first and get away with it in court,you get the jackpot of 24 carat 2 2sqaure inch gold "hate" signet ring. you know it will work.
