    you can do it mate.

    i did it ages back.

what you need to get is a special audio jack splitter from yer local hifi shop....just tell them what u wanna do...i.e split audio channels and output each to a different device...

its called an Audio Doohicky or summit like that!!

"Audio doohicky - is nothing else than a channel splitter. It fits into the 3.5" stereo jack female slot and has two mono female 3,5 jack outputs. One for headphones, one for the amplifier. (You might need a stereo-mono convertor, so that both channels of your stereo amplifier would be fed with the mono input."

    Hope this helps mate!!!!!!

You can mix on your computer using pcdj. pcdj red is the best version, and you could download that from morpheus a while back.

However you will need two soundcards installed; one for the head-phones and one for the speakers.

The only problem that I've found (and it is quite major) is that the head-phones go slightly out of sinc with whats playing through the speaker, so it f**ks up your mixing.

For mp3 mixing (fully digital), hardware control unit etc, computer setup with dual soundcard. Then wire up each soundcard as if it were a "deck" to an external mixer.

    http://www.bpmstudio.com/

It p*sses all over other software solutions. It costs a tad, but its justified by software support and hardware control unit. It hasnt crashed on me yet. Performs like a TASCAM or DENON CD mixer for those who know. Performs like a Pioneer 500 (hmm... those 1000's... X-Press 2 use them... mmmm).

    All other mixers are useless.
