I can't speak for the rest of the teams, but the Scunthorpe list is bollocks - it's listed all the players who are out of contract not who have been released :)

I saw it yesterday and its one guy released who hasnt played for us in well over a year   :dunce:

Peter Beagrie is out of contract, but has been offered a new one-year deal.... he's on holiday at the moment and is expected to sign when he returns [IMG]

    Some good players there Spence!

Not for the Toon though i suppose.

Certain Premiership teams could do a lot worse than signing Teddy Sheringham, Jody Morris and Partik Berger.

Never knew Blomqvist was at Charlton.

They should all put their cash together and make a couple of teams between them. The rest could sign for Promise FC.

    from teamtalk... prob lies...

Wolves are reportedly interested in Nigeria international centre-back Isaac Okoronkwo.

The 25-year-old defender is currently plying his trade with Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk and is set to fly to the UK later this week for talks with Newcastle, having already had a trial spell with the Magpies.

Okoronkwo trained with the United squad before Christmas last year and impressed Sir Bobby Robson. He wants to move away from Eastern Europe, even though Shakhtar have again reached the Champions League, in order to cement his place in the Nigerian side for the African Nations Cup finals in early 2004.

However, Wolves are also interested in Okoronkwo's services and Newcastle are likely to face competition from Dave Jones' Premiership newcomers.

Okoronkwo represented his country in World Cup 2002 and was part of the Super Eagles team which kept a clean sheet against England. He was won almost 20 caps for Nigeria.

anyone know anythin about this guy
