Vs Nights

Do you think that Vs nights are a good idea?

I have been asked to do a few with Twisted Logic and would like to know peoples thoughts.

i think its a well good idea - the only bad points from this are:

- both seem to hammer out best tunes (which cud be gud?)
- as soon as one thinks fuck this and whacks a hard tune on the other would have to follow suit to a degree
- different styles

but for a one off occasion it would be good to see and sometimes bad points can be seen as positives!

Maybe I should have made myself a bit more clear. Sorry. I'm talking about doing joint events with other organised night around the North-East. Not necessarily back to back sets.
I would appreciate any comments or thoughts please?

may as well - theres no competition between nights so...

I think that I will check these nights out before anything though.

Vs nights can be a good thing, especially for the more 'small time' nights, as it helps get the name about and stuff, and it's another thing to add to the DJ CV.
Can be good fun too, so I'd say go for it Jim.

If you can find anywhere else with some fine quality Deep House DJs too, you know who to call

i think its good and bad, since saturday and since our cd's hav been handed out i've had shit loadsa people offering us Vs nites!!!, i think if your selective about certain ones then it can be a good thing, like breaking a different area etc, but at the same time, they can get a bit boring cause theres that many of them going on!!!!

james says the cd u guys made was quality - he reckons i'd prefer jimmys cos its harder. He liked ur trance mix. I'll have to lend it cos no one gave me one!!

This is exactly what I'm talking about m8.
We'll have to be quite selective but at the same time wuite accepting.
We have only had 1 night and there is alot of dj's that we want to play for us. A Vs night cuts the amount of dj's that we can showcase in half.
There will be Vs nights, i'll just have to decide who with???

I'll give u it on Friday along with GH's whose is also class.

i think its all about styles, u need something different, than u'v already got!!!, whats the point in goin to see a V's nite if its all trance, HH, it would just be so boring!!!!, mix and match, thats the key!!!

well i think vs nights are good we have a few in the bag to do and the one we pulled with naughty was a sucess

so i think they are a good idea
