What did you think of Promise the 1st time you went to fondation?

not a personal dig here - but ppl need to stop worrying about promise losing any of the atmosphere and just have a good time - that way it will return!

the more ppl keep thinking it aint good - the longer it will seem to feel it aint as gud...

my thoughts anyway.

Robbie Nelson & Parks n Wilson ages and ages ago or it may have even been Tyrant Sound System, i also remember the likes of Dave Seaman bein on then and others

It has prgressed from there altho i aint been in 2 weeks no and before that it was the History night and before that was 10 weeks

I have had some quality nights in Promise mainly when the likes of Tulip / Hardwick / Bond / Van Dyk / Gielen have been on

first time i went was wen luke neville was on i think (hmm) yonks ago but i left after 10 mins cos my mate had a paddy... John Kelly+ MH was the first real time I went a few months later and it was fucking aawesome still one of the best sets I ever seen.. +spent most of the night talkin to kellys mates about his bus.. wickid

Early 2001, Lee Burridge was on, not too impressed by what he played, although my mate was cause Lee was playing one of his promos. Loved the dark, atmospheric look of the place though. Almost put me off cause of the slow, proggy style he was playing...

I know I went to see Pvd and Matt Hardwick on September 14th 2001,
but Pvd didn't turn up cos of 9/11..

Matt played for 4 or 5 hours by himself..
was an amazin night!!

Felt a bit unsure. First time back on "the scene" after a few years out.
Once the atmosphere hit me (among other things) I got right back into it.

my first time to foundation was not long after it got refurbished from the riverside, i think Angel was on, my mates bf was on first i think can't really remember much as i was completely mortal, remember gettin lost upstairs tho

i only really got into promise about a year ago eddie halliwell was on, once again i was pissed, but was introduced to chemicals this nite and cyber, ever since then i've been addicted travelling 360miles nearly evry w/end to go out. Must be mad:angel:

Promise hadn't started the first time I went to Foundation (Nice used to have Wonderland on Fridays). I also used to go to the Riverside.

I think the first time I went to Promise was the first time Tyrant played, think it was early summer 2000. Had a great night.

i can just rember it being empty so never used to go then went to the picotto night ages i go i think n it was mint so go all the time liked shindig back then
