My mam rang me yesterday when i was at some after party still :spangled: and said they had decided to not go as its a meaningless game ! To be honest she is right and im glad in a way i didnt go - the hassle of gettin up early and then coming back ! It didnt really bother me in the end !
Well if there's no SUMMER SOUND SYSTEM then I may have to go to this PASSION thing on June 21st! Gotta do summat big that weekend as it's my b'day on the 22nd!

the whole organisation was shit, tent maps were wrong, sets being moved around all over the place, DJs weren't on when they were meant to be, but most of all they fucked Carl Cox off last minute because "the tent was damaged" after he'd spent over 6months work putting the whole Global arena together, then had the balls to say "what a great day everyone had" in the official post-festival press release when 95% ppl who'd been there were howling about it, especially carl cox. And just cynical stuff like charging £5 to park a car!! GK showed em how do do it properly a month later, GG was 10 times better than SSS. Far as i could tell from SS last year GC were only interested in 1 thing, ripping as much cash as possisble from 000's of "loyal" fans. bastards :evil: :evil:
She gave them to her mates - they had bus travel too but i think it would of been late getting back n that and would of been a carry on ! 2-2 has netted me £65 anyways in a sweep at work !
