Sunday Trading Closed for Summer Unfortunately Sunday Trading has closed for the summer. We will be back in the Autumn when we are feeling refreshed. Obviously this effects the dj competition. I had hoped that there would be sufficient interest in that to keep Sunday trading going over the summer which is traditionally our quiet period, however this is not the case. Falling numbers have meant closing early and cancelling DJs who have travelled to play for us. Clearly this can not go on. I want to extend a big thanks to those who have netered the competition especially those of you who have been patient enough to wait until now for a place. I will ring you personally as soon as I have some more information about the relaunch, which is likely to be in the Autumn. And big thanks to everyone who has helped out over the months. We will be back. www.sundaytrading.info
P.S. I would welcome any comments - good or bad - about the future of Sunday Trading. Please email me. Kind regards to everyone who has been and supported our efforts. Thats a shame Neil m8. Like Che says, a fresh approach may be better for the Autunm re-launch. Still a shame though!
so sorry to hear about this neil was looking forward to playing there again any way all the best for the next round
i think a change of venue too. egypt cottage's funny cos the dj is right round the corner out of sight almost hidden away. i personally prefer to see the dj
i just think people are bored of going to EC for things. and its not the nicest bar in town. a change of scenary would do a worl of good imo... not sure where tho...
only cos its the only place to do it... thanks kinda my point.....somewhere else is needed.....but there isnt anywhere!
Agreed m8! Theres not a great deal of places in town that support 'up and coming' dj's!! Its a shame coz theres some good talent out there
But no-one else would have been at EC if Sunday Trading hadn't been there first! I would prefer it if it was more in town, but that's just because I am lazy and it would be easier for me to get to.
yep, sunday trading started it all, and i must say, worked well especially for a sunday!!! shame the EC bug has hit it tho cos Neil put everything into it and it, Neil, and the rest of the ST lot deserve a lot of credit for everything theyve done and started. so............ A BIG round of applause to ST!!! *APPLAUSE*
