Matt how are ya mate I would come to visit, but South Africa s on the cards (flights sorted) this summer, sorry mate, i know i said i d try and come over... Next time i go away after this one, it will almost definately be to South America, so expect a visit then! DJings going ok, very nervous, but excited too Hows things over in LA? Having a career change after this course, looking to do a degree in Outdoor Education and Environmental Science, which basically means playing in the mountains, and gettin a degree and job outta it Cant wait to move on to that, but gonna finish this *yawns* quantity surveying bullshit first!

Oh, South Africa! That will be very fun. I forgive you for not coming to see me then. Be sure to keep up the sanitation though. All this SARS nonsense may get you if you arent careful. Hopefully it will be contained in asia and canada, but I wouldnt count on it.

Things in LA are going quite well. Job is going good and I'll be going back to school soon, I hope. I've also got myself a wonderful lass.

Went to a forest rave this weekend. I had a wonderful time. You Promise people probably would have died though, it was all hardcore music. hehe. Camping and listening to music is a great thing. Since its close to summer, I'll be spending alot of time out in the desert.

I think the new career suits you. If you are ever interested, I am sure there are plenty of jobs in California for you. We've got huge wilderness areas here, and they are always looking for Rangers to staff them. Your surveying background might help as well... We're constantly building things here in California

I love newcastle! Its sooooo much better than living in the sticks... cause its hard to get out there without a car... and nobody has a caar it seems!

Ruths the only one with a car! I'm hopefully going to be getting one soon but I need to save up first and I'll probably have moved by the time I pass my driving test
