    I don't understand it

Ok, why is it that numerous tv presenters, news presenters and weather men/women who slog their guts out at university for a degree end up working on tele!

I've been checking out the degrees some of these people have done and they have absolutely no revalence to the work they are doing on tv, so what's the point in doing their degree?

I don't see how someone with a financial management degree goes to presenting the weather!

Get a clue on the topic

I suppose it is just something to look good on their CV. A lot of people don't know what they want to do when they leave college or school, thus they just decide to do a degree in something just for the fact that if you have a degree then they will have a better chance of getting the job they want when they do decide what they want to do.

Another reason could be that they had planned to do something in the degree that they achieved but then they got a lucky break and decided to take it and become involved in television.

A lot of the time it really doesn't matter what the degree is in it just shows that you have studyed at that level
