    Old Prog DJs

Regarding the old progressive DJs like Parks & Wilson,Tyrant etc who no longer get booked at Promise. Did you just not contact them about any further bookings or did you try and explain to them a change in the music policy? How did they react?

thats a good question, cos theres loads of dj's we will never see again, which is a pity.

some i understand why they wont be back, though i think theres still a place for some, nick warren for example

Interesting idea but apparently Promise is a business and despite their obvious quality, apparently they just dont pull in the crowds.

Is there no chance of putting a prog DJ upstairs once a month? I would love to see the likes of Pappa, Fourt (dunno if that's spelt right!) @ Promise

I saw Pappa + Fourt going back 2 back last year @ Colours in Glasgow - and they were fookin class!!

U could have a headliner downstairs + 1 upstairs? Like when u had Kerry Chandler @ thebirthday party. I know its not thesame music policy but ho hum;) :D
