mabey so but this does seem to b becoming an increasing problem that also seems to b happening more regulary????? i do see this becoming a bit of a problem for promise, cos if it does continue to often then i do see regulars not goinq to promise as regularley any more, i mean if i knew there was the slightest possibilaty that i may get kicked out because the security 'felt like it' an hav to shell out a £50 taxi fare then i would b less inclined to go so often if at all.
but at the end of the day we must all remember that the security have nothin to do with promise them selves, they are supplied by foundation so if u realy do hav a problem with any of the security its no use harping on bout it to promise!!!!!! all i could sugest is to make a formal complaint to the owners of foundation, go to the root of the problem!!!!!!!

Hmm an interesting read! I see this kind of post is becoming a regular occurance, I remember reading something similar just weeks before from one of your regulars who has lost faith in the club too.

At the end of the day, the club and a club night are completely different things, any issues that surround a club on a particular night should be try and dealt with by those holding the event. They put the money into the venue to run it within reason as they please and so should take on any responsibilities and concerns which arise and not fob them off.

Promotors are there just as much for the welfare of their clubbers as much as making the djs happy. If the clubber isnt happy. the dj isnt happy, if the dj isn't happy, ,the promotor isn't happy.

There has been instances in Gatecrasher where there has been security issues and Ben took it upon himself to sort it, it shouldn't be any different for any other club, security are there to play it fair, unfortunately sometimes security abuse their position and need telling what's what.

If It was me, I would take it upon myself to go above the promotor and speak to the director. These instances of harassment certainly do no good for a club, word gets around and bad feeling sets in, which I'm sure the owner/director wouldn't want happening. As sad as it is, yes he'll maybe care far greater than someone below him, but that's only because of the cash but at least he'll enforce his power to do something about the situation.

I'm sure Mark wouldn't mind giving you the directors contact details to the persons involved would you...
