beaten in League Cup Final gubbed by Steve Bruce's Hull in FA Cup 3 points off safety 2 games in hand v Man City and Liverpool have taken 1 point off Palace this season canny.....
and they still couldn't beat them at home they've taken 1 point off Palace this season and have an awful record (home and away) against all the teams around them - that is why they are going down - wins against the likes of us, Man City and Everton, etc are pointless if you don't follow it up and pick up points against the teams around you Palace were bottom when Pulis took over, now they are out the relegation places SAFC were in bottom 3 when Poyet took over, they are still in bottom 3....
I get the feeling their may be a twist yet in the relegation battle but I still think the current bottom 3 are set to drop.
The annoying thing is that this was all sorted earlier in the year behind closed doors. WTF is that shit about? Fucking useless FA
I reckon thats them gone now. Hard to predict who else will drop. Fulham seemed to be making a small resurgence after beating us. Norwich and West Brom still in danger I think
Yup, I think they are gone. Shame.... 7 points adrift, which given their goal difference is basically 3 wins. They've won something like 6 games all season. They need to win half as many again, and still have Spurs, Everton, Man City, Chelsea and Man Utd to play!!
Sunderland face a mass exodus should they be relegated. The People says nine players are out of contract this summer – goalkeepers Keiren Westwood and Oscar Ustari, defenders Phil Bardsley, Carlos Cuellar and Andrea Dossena, and midfielders Craig Gardner, Sebastian Larsson, Jack Colback and David Vaughan. The squad also includes five loan players – Liverpool striker Fabio Borini, Swansea midfielder Ki Sung-Yueng and defenders Marcos Alonso (Fiorentina), Santiago Vergini (Estudiantes) and Ondrej Celustka (Trabzonspor). The Black Cats reported a £23million loss in the year to the end of July 2013. And relegation could see big-money signings Steven Fletcher (£12m), Adam Johnson (£10m), Emanuele Giaccherini (£6.8m), Jozy Altidore (£6.5m) and Lee Cattermole (£6m) go to cut costs.
