There was a movement in clubland about 15 years ago that shaped how we go clubbing still to this day. 15 years on and we are still hearing influences in modern music from this era. Take Dot Rotten and his track Overload that heavily samples Robert Miles - Children for example. The music was called TRANCE! We hark back to the day where clubber's went by the name 'cyber kids'. Day glow paint isn't something newly discovered by those that attend Evo festival. Clubbers in fluffy boots, spiky hair, sunglasses and fridge magnets stuck to there vest. TRANCE was more than just music. It was a community. Trance music gave birth to some of the biggest brand names is clubbing. Names like 'GODSKITCHEN, GATECRASHER, MINISTRY OF SOUND, CREAM, PASSION, PROMISE and many more. Would IBIZA be what it is today with out TRANCE? I doubt it. Would there be as many people out there wanting to be a DJ if it wasn't for TRANCE? Lets face it... The superstar DJ's were spawned out of the nations... In fact the worlds love for this genre making the thought of becoming a DJ for a living a lucrative option. Some superstar dj's may have moved on from the genre that made them *CAUGH* TIESTO! But we still remember. WE WILL REMEMBER! IT WILL ALWAYS BE WITH YOU! PROMISE ALWAYS! C U ON THE DANCEFLOOR X
Would be rude not to. No doubt Cox will go to this, end up getting a bottle of VK tipped down his kegs, then end up shagging some utter seat belt chewer at the afterparty
