    Re: Traveling

Gatecrasher does have a loyal following, it's just that the management arent as connected with the clubbers as they use to be, yet as they get treated more like shit, the more the clubbers are loyal to the club because of the critisim it receives on the scene quite alot, it is rather bizarre but makes the club stronger!

I'm not questioning gatecrashers loyal punters...a couple of years ago trhey had the loyalist follwoing any clb has ever seen... een folk who hadn't been to crasher were loyal to the lion (calling themnselves crasher kids and dreaming of going there 1 day)....

Think crasher has lost this now though and are left with straddlers and folks like u n dave :D

yep however i was that dissapointed after the white night, aint been back since..

the monthly themed thing is a load of bollox, it doesn't make it more special or more intimate. weekly crasher needs to come back for it to be half decent again. too many nobs make the effort for the monthly nights almost making it like an event instead of a clubnight.

when crasher was 1/2 full and weekly it was better than the monthly nonsense it is now.

crasher is now all about the $ :(

ok essentially yes, but at least most clubs at least pretend they're here for the clubbers 1st and the money 2nd ;)

crasher doesn't even try its just so blatant! :p

    Re: Re: Re: Traveling

i know alot of my mates who have been going to crasher for years and still dont miss a single crasher. however its not their top priority anymore...

...most used to spend all week making cyber stuff...then travel across the country to get to crasher and do this every week. their everyday life revolved around crasher.

now alot of em live in sheffield...wear normal clothes...and stay well clear of the railings where they used to sit their arses down all nite long as they flapped there hands around!

crasher isnt life for them anymore but they still go all the time and have a good fookin nite when they get there. instead of crasher being a lifestyle all it is now is a club nite....but a good fookin nite anyways:)

    Re: Re: Re: Re: Traveling

I agree with u... I'd call them straddlers though... crasher aint their life but they all probably dream of it returning to its former glory and most probably still have a class time wen they go...

I'm not questioning crashers loyalty... I doubt promise would ever see that loyalty.... I doubt any UK club will for a long time.

Hotels should offer a later check out at weekends - I'd go away much more then. I'm sure they'd get more business as well
