You'd have to have "fans" at matches to do that.

like i've already said, a few charva's at a reserve match (blatantly there for trouble, as were quite a few mackem fans btw, but you've failed to mention that...) = not real fans

a few plastic signs ripped off a wall is hardly "destroying their own ground"

but no you are right, Sunderland fans never do anything wrong, other than attack opposition goalkeepers and vandalising toilets, smashing up city centre pubs, etc.

Are you saying Sunderland fans have NEVER invaded a pitch?????

Tony - Do you think Clattermole should keep the captaincy or should he have even been given it in the first place? Hardly a role model or someone worthy of looking up to is he.

tbh i care very little about a bunch of charva's who aren't proper fans, etc. i'd rather talk about actual football and what a decent season it's been for NUFC and how well we are doing financially, thanks

It's no wonder English football is fucked if the likes of Clattermole are seen as a role model.

Cant be arsed with the tit for tat banter that's flying around here when it comes to sunderland and newcastle, much rather have a decent convo about the football.

Tony - We've had plenty of bad eggs over the years and still have one in our ranks, the difference being is that we've never given them the captaincy of the club on a full time basis. Here we have a lad who's been banned from Yarm for over 3 years for violent disorder, been banned from drinking in sunderland (i think) and just recently went on a rampage and vandalised 5 cars in newcastle (allegedly). Surely the club captain is the one who's supposed to set an example to the younger players at the club? Some example he's currently setting eh? The blokes a thug on and off the pitch, you can put a tackle in and play hard without being reckless, i've seen him end players seasons on at least 2 occasions that i can think of these last few years. Just look at his tackle on Tiote in the first 43secs of the derby, any level headed intelligent footballer wouldn't have done that, there was no need for it that soon in the game. Not forgetting he's actually a smoggy as well.
