I left Newcastle early, obviously no mix of fans but town was full of total wankers. People who hadn't even been to the game & probably never watch any football except for the derby games. Talking absolute shite as well. I felt like a right old man complaining about it on the bus home

I second those sentiments I was personally ashamed to be a football fan in general yesterday. Some of the crack before the game on facebook was absolutely fucking disgusting in my eyes, and on any other day had it been directed at any individual or group/establishment of people it would have been classed as offensive abuse and harassment.

Don't get me wrong, the banter between fans is what makes the derby day special but it would seem that the majority of fans have forgotten where banter ends and thuggery begins.

I was lucky enough to get the chance of somebodys season ticket sat in the Milburn stand and shock horror, i'm a Sunderland supporter!!

I managed to survive the 90 minutes unscathed unlike some poor fucker in the same situation as me who in the very same stand was apparently lynched by four geordies, his crime, following a team who wear different colours. Whether he made his mouth go is a different matter but regardless, thats the police/stewards job to sort out!

I sat and took in everything the whole game, most notably endless amounts of idiots shouting, screaming & virtually foaming at the mouth and suffering aneurysyms, not at the activites going on on the pitch but at the opposing fans....... The only thing seperating them as human beings being the group of men on the pitch whom they choose to follow as a team.

Don't get me wrong, I know fine well theres as many Sunderland supporters who are and would have acted exactly the same but that to me isn't passion for your team and a game of football, especially when it results in people getting stabbed....... It's an absolute disgrace.

    Fair result in the end.

Both teams had more than enough chances to put the game to bed, but focus drifted once the challenges starting flying in.

Love derby day. Best one in the Premiership by far.

Rough as a badgers all day today :'(

I cant understand why sunderland fans arent in uproar with their team for throwing away a throughly deserved lead and the best chance they've had of beating us in years, i woudl be. Lets face it if you had kept 11 men on the pitch you may well have seen the game out but due to the stupidity of your own player/players you ended up throwing it away, whether Tioite made a meal of it or not is irrelevant it was a red card all day long. Its seems to me that the intensity and the atmosphere of the day got to your players and they couldnt handle it. I havent heard or seen one sunderland fan admit it was ther own fault for throwing 2 points away, its all been about Tiote and what could/should have been.

    Too far from Newcastle now....
Sigh of relief when we equalised, and that I'd stayed til the whistle. Not a great game but not a 'L' at least. See how the next couple go...

Moan O'Neil calling a emergency press conference on Monday so he could continue his whinging about his boys blowing there chance for a famous win.The fella is clearly rattled & is biting more than Steve Bruce, I have to admit with O'Neil being used to Old Firm games I didn't think we would mentally destroy him but the seed is in there. Has Moan O'Neil said "Wait till they come to our place" yet?

what difference does that make????? you mean as opposed to 18 yards out?????

the point I was making was O'Neill was harping on about tactics and who was the better team, where it's obvious we had the better game. SAFC were better team in 1st half, NUFC in second, and even with a half each, our possession is nearly double yours. How many noticeable saves did Krul make? 1, maybe 2?

And how ineffective was Frazier Campbell btw? Total waste of a substitution that. The Moaner should have put another midfielder / defender on

It's funny, with all this talk of what Pardew 'did' - he maybe shouldn't have done what he did in front of O'Neill, but but it's no worse than Richardson putting the v's up at the Toon fans after Bendtner scored. Plus this has failed to gave been brought up by Sunderland fans -

I haven’t read true faith for years, full of idiots. Why are you reading it anyway? Obsessed??? haha

This is really starting to get out of hand now, some of the stuff sunderland fans are saying on twitter is quite frankly embarrassing, did we carry on like this last year when you scored an injury time equaliser, i dont recall we did however i wasnt on twitter then so probably didnt have a fair reflection of how people were feeling.

Why cant sunderland fans just admit to their own teams failings and shortcomings rather than finding excuses for them and trying to blame someone else, and i'm not just talking about the fans here either that go's for MON as well. You didn’t draw the game because someone allegedly visited the ref at half time, or because Tiote tried to win an oscar or because Pardew was out of order when the penalty was awarded. You drew because the heat of the game got to your players.

I’ve said before that I think a draw was probably the right result and I still think that. I wouldn’t like to imagine what the sunderland fans would have been like had we actually nicked it right at the end when Williamson had a chance, probably blame the rain and the wrong type of grass or something…haha.

Defo think this one will go down in history, its what derbys are all about.

Mondays Chronical "Shola says "we are still the NE's top dogs"

The fact they had to print this proves everything I said.

Arses were slapped and you were put in your places, for 85 mins you were getting beat by the red and whites and coudlnt even beat em with a free man and a free player.
