Car Parking Spots In/Near to Town

Starting a new job and have to deal with the dreaded city centre park job.

Anyone know any spots in or outside town that are free/ el cheapo. Dont really fancy paying a fiver a day.

Don't mind a walk into town either.

You will not find cheaper than the arena mate. I have done the ground work on this.

Was thinking of parking on lime street. Neat the cluny, ive parked there before and im sure there isnt a charge.

The closest area i have found to the centre of town that is free parking is in streets next to the Newcastle College - all other streets within a close proximity have parking restricitions/limits to prevent residents in the area losing there spots. About a 10 minute walk into town from here

The arena is £216 for the first year then £140 a year after that, not too bad considering.
I have a free place at the moment but they don't last forever, as soon as the honeymoon is over I'm arena bound.
