I take it from his posts on his own forum that he's focusing on production from now on? I saw him at the first promise I went to in July 02 with Corvin Dalek, the pair of them rinsed the place The guy will be a big miss.
maybe he seeks professional satisfaction and I guess that being a lawyer will do that. you cant keep your head straight for days in court if you are constantly doing late nights at the weekend
he will have been getting very good money in the clubbing heyday 1997 >> 2003, wasnt he a part owner of crasher? he was defo the resi they for about a decade he wont have been getting much recently i would guess
A sad day. Not into that sort on tunage any more but spent many a buckled night grinning away to him on the dancefloors at both S1 1DJ and Foundation. His set at Promises 2nd birthday was epic, probably the best Ive heard.
He's done well and had/got the best of both worlds. Sure IAM still ask for £1000, flights, hotel and booking fee for a 90 minute set. Not exactly 'not much' but if he feels the time is right to retire, fair play. His recorded sets will still be on my iPod for years to come.
