Has anyone else lost major interest recently?

Does anyone else think Gareth Barry is extremely over rated player (along with Emile Heskey) and plays with a negative approach? I very much doubt Harry Redknapp would select him in the first 11.

It seems to me like a joke - this friendly coming up should have been scrapped rather than allow some players who play Champions League football to return to their clubs. It is unfair on someone such as Scott Parker/West Ham (although he is the type od player who will be happy to gain anopther cap) to 4play an extra game, and risk being less fit for the forthcoming relegation scraps.

The whole Captaincy saga is a farce...whan will it end, because it seems to get worse rather than better, and they are simple errors. Speaking fluent english would definatley help though.

I really couldnt care less about International matches now like. The england squad are generally a bunch of bellends in their own right, but when they get together they seem to turn into one giant throbbing bellend that i just love to hate.

Ditto. I don't understand how Capello has turned into such a bumbling fool, given that at one point he was managing Real.

I can't be arsed with the team nowadays, the team "mainstays" like Terry are a bunch of useless, lazy, overpaid twats.

English players are highly overrated for one single reason - the media - and TBH when the big events arrive we get carried along with it (more in hope than anything).

When we had 5/6 star players who could give claim to being the best in their position (Shearer, Ince, Beckham, Seaman, Adams, Neville, etc) I had optimism, but things have turned cold. We have to many medicore players getting in the squad.

Carlton Cole has always been a bit of a joke, and another massively over rated player is Ashley Cole.

TBF to Capello it is not his fault he was hired. He had no previous experience of international experience either and there is quite a contrast between that and club management.

It's a massive shame Gareth Bale (and before that Ryan Giggs) are not English.

Regardless of my general apathy towards the England team, the match was canny enjoyable tonight.
