RIP TV & Films section.....

Anyone see this last night? Didn't really think much of it to be honest, not sure if its because it was built up so big in the constant advert push leading to the premiere or if it was because channel 4 played the film the night before this started.

Thought it was quite slow, hopefully the pace will pick up with the next episode and whenever Combo returns.

The 'lass' that plays Smell is the ugliest monster to ever be captured on film, her face looks like an egg placed on its side with a toddler told to draw a face on it.

haha she's a rotter like, But when your as cockeyed as Shaun you'll take anything i guess.

Thought it was very slow as well. It wasn't like they were trying to tie it in with the film, just setting a scene as to where they were in life in General and in a 4 part mini series you don't need the first hour dedicated to just that.

Will give it another watch next week but if there's no improvement i'll sack it off. It's not like the film was outstanding and really needed a mini series to continue it. It was average at best.

Yeah it was pretty weak like. I missed the start of it but the story just seemed to wander, without any final aim or purpose. It was well shot and the acting wasn't bad (particularly from Lol). Like Aaron said if it doesn't get any better next week I'll sack it off.

Who the fuck was the name of the woman who played Lol's mam too? It was doing my head in, I'm sure she used to be on a bt advert or something.

I think Chris from the first series Skins was one of the scooter blokes, whenever they were on the screen it smacked of Skins like teen humour ie shit. (Although I did like the line about not wanting any ginger chips)

The palm of my hand blister and all is far more attractive than her and I'm sure his hands not that bad looking either

Enjoyed the start too, was a bit slower but it set the scene and shifted the focus from Shaun. Looking forward to watching the rest of it.

She used to be on Hollyoakes if that helps, used to be Gemma Atkinsons mam on it. Think she was on an advert aswell tho recently, one of the energy conservation ones or something?

fucking shite, the sets where absolute dross. UPVC windows in the 80's? Could you only afford ONE 80's car for the road scene, and cos of this we cant show the hosptial car park (it will be empty) so drive the car right up to the lobby.

i was cringing at the "coloured" woman in the graveyard too. didint see one of those till well into the 90's

Really disappointed with it myself... stinks of shit Shameless. Definitely not the worst thing on tv but has been an absolute let down so far.
