Dada - The Globe - Late Night Roof-Top Party - Saturday 11th Sept Firstly, a huge thankyou to everyone who made it down on Sunday, you made it a brilliant party! Next up is this.... Dada The Roof-Top Party The Globe (Next to Newcastle Arena) Featuring Last Waltz DJ's and Friends On Saturday 11/09 Dada are taking over the Rooftop Terrace of the Globe, Newcastle's latest independent music Venue to throw an open air party, which will go all the way through till 3.30am. Recently re-opened, the Globe is an authentic, rough and ready space, completely in keeping with our series of interesting and unique venue's. It's also the only place we know of in the city which has the capability of hosting an outdoor event till such a late hour. To mark the occasion, we'll be going all out and dressing the Terrace with the assistance of noted stage designers Molly Barrett, Verity Quinn and Kate Eccles, so expect a suitably outlandish setting. We're extremely pleased to be able to throw this type of party at The Globe, and we look forward to seeing you all there as we get up (and get into it) under the stars. There's been a great response to this with regards to tickets and people generally seeming up for, so we're all really looking forward to Saturday now. Just thought I'd quickly drop in and point out that we've made provisions for the party to be equally good if the weather means we have to keep the majority of stuff inside, although it doesn't look like that's going to be a problem at the moment. Couldn't of written that better myself we are made up at the response so far, thanks to everyone who has been down , your support is very much apprciated. As for Dada, outstanding! fantastic atmosphere, haven't seen a club go off like that in a while.
he's right like mido, he did. top night, from what i remember. it got fucking freezing up on the roof though, although that might be something to do with my decision to go out in september in just a t-shirt.
