Creamfields Anyone going? Well looking forward to it now! What's the searches like going in? Anyone had trouble getting into arenas before because of them being full? Roads total gridlocked around the place? We have to get taxis to our hotel from the site, just wondering what it'll be like
Im going down, went a couple of years ago and the searches were pretty strict, be prepared for plenty of queuing aswell. Not sure what the roads were like because we got there pretty early to set up the tent n stuff.
I went last year and we the searches were really bad even just for booze, and glass bottles were confiscated and if you had more than 1 litre of spirits/crate etc (whatever the limit was on the ticket) it was taken off. The lass in front had a glass jar of pesto taken off her The queues were the worst to get to the camping bits and the steward blokes didn't give a shit telling you to go one way then another. Only time there was any bother getting into a tent was when David Guetta was on and it got too crowded so he stopped playing
do the police not pick out 1 in 5, 10 or something like that. swab their pockets etc and then test for drugs with a machine? or is that at Global. One of my mates got strip searched as he'd had some sniff before he went. Didn't have anything on him when he was there luckily. Not sure if it was Global or Creamfields he was at though.
