Does anyone else find themselves hopelessly addicted to this game?

I think I have played it for about 8 hours solid today. Woke up this morning and put it on for a quick game and the next thing I know its getting dark, WTF!!

same here but its keeps crashing on me comp now so dont play on it nee more lol

I used to be like that so I locked away the discs and removed it from my computer......I went "cold turkey" for a few weeks but I'm over it now!!!

To be honest cold turkey from champ makes trainspotting look like a walk in the park, I used to wake in the night frantically clicking on an imaginary mouse shouting "go on my son"!!! Be strong tho, if u choose to kick the habit there is help out there for you my child!!!

I used to be hopelesly addicted to this game.

I remember having it on the Amiga back in about 1994. Then going through a couple of updates as well. Remember at school always desperate to leave just to get home and play Champ Manager, first thing id do every night.

Then got Champ Man 2 for the PC, totally addicted to that as well. Went through some more updates then moved on to Champ Man 3. Then on to 00/01 and unfortunately i stpped there and havent bought the last version or two. Ive gotta get back into it soon. So mant times id be playing it thinking "one more game" again and again and then id think "fuck its light outside - i played this all night".

The reason i actually stopped was cos my brother wiped the hard drive with my saved games on which were into about season 10 and 7. So i was pissed off and couldnt be bothered to start all over again.

This game is why i fucked up my GSCES and my A-Levels so bad, but it was worth it. Especially when Southend reached their fifth consecutive Europen Cup Final (the early versions were quite easy but fun all the same).

IT ISN'T JUST A GAME!!!!!!!!!! STOP CALLING IT A GAME!!!!!!!! IT'S A WAY OF LIFE!!!! IT'S ALL REAL!!!!!!!

I've been addicted since the Amiga days too. It's a shame the next one's release date has been put back to next year tho.

champ manager = best game ever

the amiga version was so slow that the tension when your striker is 1 on 1 with the keeper was unbearable

I used 2 b totally addicted, it ended up the PC was going r the game going going GONE.

Now its more like "Halo" 4 me, that games class.
