Very few on here will remember the devastation the Tories imparted on 'the regions' - if you live further North than Luton don't expect anything but sizeable dollops of hardship if David Conman & his Eton trifles get in

A Lib Dem vote is a positive for the Tories in these parts

So it's Labour for me - whatever criticism is levelled against them (and a lot of it is just) they have done a fantastic job with schools, hospitals, front line services, introduction of the minimum wage etc.

A Tory goverment would herald a dark dawn for the North East and a MASSIVE step backwards for the region

Ironic that Labour voters go on about the tories looking after their own, but then vote in a political party that idealistically does the exact same thing, but for the working classes.

Everyone is out for themselves ;)

I will be voting Lib or Lab. Cant vote CONartists as the Barry Legg Act was killer for clubs & clubbers & that is not forgotten by me. Unjust wars everyone in power likes to play with there soldiers at least once so I can handle that. Any of the BIG 3 tell me that Bono is banned from the UK so no PM listens to some cunt from Eire telling the UK to write debt off. Geldof is told he can speak but he & all his family can only have wealth upto £10 million & not penny more. Things like rail/water either get a fucking load competition/choice for the consumer or these monopolies are given back to UK. I could rant all night to be honest.

haha get off ya horse ya daft cunt. theres people in call centres making more than teachers. you sound like a fucking tory.

were in the worst state politically that i can remember over the years. we have labour who are basically facist lefties theyve struck a mix of bending over backwards to suit the minority at the expense of alienating the majority. theyre advertising theyre a working mans party while taxing the fucklout of everything the working man holds dear. its like having a party so ashamed of being british that theyre overcompensating for past british colonial fuck ups.

and as bad as it is with this pathetic excuse of a government i will never vote for the tories. rich party for rich people.

and the liberals are usually 3rd for a reason they havent got a fucking clue. disband trident program when the middle east and other rogue states develope nuclear tehnology. an amnesty on illegals that have been here for 10 year. (hows anyone gonna prove how long theyve been here. thats why theyre illegal). stop the construction of nuclear plants and opt for coal fired ones. theyre cannot produce anywhere near the amount nuclear reactors can. not to mention the carbon they will produce. it be a different story if it meant re-opening coal mines in britain but they wont it'le come from eastern europe.

pointless rant but its a shite state of affairs and ive nee idea who to vote for

Ive gone for Lib Dems - first time ever in a national election. I dont really think much will change if the Tories get in, and Labour is just more of the same.

Thought the Lib Dems had some good policies on taxation so that won it for me

People are so stupid saying that they don't want the Tories in so they're voting Lib Dem, 'cos that's exactly what will happen if you do vote Lib Dem.

peoples attitude to the tories is the typical of the union influenced northern mindset.

Conservative is a vote for people WORKING hard for their money, saving and using it wisely which is what this hand-out driven , layabout, debt ridden sponging society has turned into under labour, needs. Everyone expects to be GIVEN a job, GIVEN prospects, GIVEN education, GIVEN help. Go out and fucking earn it.

Lib Dems have no chance of actually winning the election regardless of the recent surge in popularity. Labour may not be perfect but represent the best choice.
