Dada // 2010 DJ Booking Preview

A sneak preview of SOME of the guests we have in store for you in 2010 (be aware, we’re still keeping the details of some of the biggest hitters under wraps for the time being)…

    ALEX CELLAR (Freak n’Chic, Cecille),
ASHLEY BEEDLE (X-Press 2, Kiss FM),
    GLIMPSE (Cadenza, Cocoon, Crosstown Rebels),
I-F (Unit Moebius, Mixed up The Hague),
    ANTHEA (Cecille, Phonica),
    GEDDES (Mulletover, Rekliener),
DISCO DEVIANCE (Dicky Trisco, Cosmic Boogie)

There are a lot more confirmed so far, but we don't want to spoil too many surprises for 2010

We'll be posting the dates etc after we've seen in the new year.

    Merry Xmas

    xx

    Glad you had fun mate.

I wasn't expecting to play on Saturday like, but Greg had so much gear that we couldn't fit the 1210's in and I'm the only ressie who plays CD.

Thought there was a class atmosphere on Saturday.
Lost my mind when he played Pacific State!

If you're looking for Disco in general, then the Disco Deviance (Dicky Trisco & Cosmic Boogie) lot are well worth checking out too.
They've been doing a lot of stuff with Greg Wilson of late and the releases on their label have been fantastic...

There's currently a lot of men in their mid 30's furiously knocking one out to the sight of that lineup.

    Pleased you like it Scooby...

Here's a mix from Joy Orbison too.

    http://www.zshare.net/audio/7058001865b76d55/

He's getting lumped in with the whole urban and Dubstep thing at the moment, but I'd say that's a pretty reductive way of looking at him.
There are definite "broken" elements in what he does, but his productions come across as a mixture of Garage Swing and Detroit Techno to me.
Very similar to the sound that BPitch seem to be moving towards with stuff like the latest Jay Haze / Fuckpony album.

He's apparently only interested in playing for Techno Nights at the moment, which is a good indication of where his heart is.

Hyph Mngo just got RA's top tune of 2009 too.

    TRENDY!
