Hooked v Compakt Disco - Kings Manor - Sat 19 Dec Hooked vs Compakt Disco @ The Kings Manor Saturday, 19 December 2009 9 pm - 2 am Kings Manor, Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom We hosted our first party back in May 2005; since then we've played host to the Newcastle debuts of techno luminaries Ben Sims, Joris Voorn, British Murder Boys, Cari Lekebusch, Si Begg & Henrik B, amongst other big hitters, as well as hosting the Newcastle Community Green Festival dance stage until we parted company after the massive 2007 event. Moving forward the parties have been fairly sporadic and low key of recent years, but plans for parties in both Newcastle and Amsterdam are well under way to bring the Hooked techno sound back into the open for 2010. As a little taster of what we've been up to and what's to come in the New Year, we're holding a little residents party downstairs at the Kings Manor with the Compakt Disco folks taking control of upstairs.
