Disappointed with this. I think its going to be a cracking fight

Didnt think much of Carwin until his last few fights, especially the Gonzaga fight

None of his fights have gone past 3 minutes! Let alone a round!

Looks like it, I think carwins had as good a chance as anybody to beat lesnar, similar size both mint wrestlers and Id give Carwin the advantage with his fists.Hope it wont be too long before they meet

Carwins got a hammer for a fist that would trouble any fighter if it stays standing, I can see lesnar doing the same to Carwin as he done to Mir though and take it to the ground and use his sheer bodyweight to pin him down.

Mir was well known for his Ju-Jitsu and he couldn't implement that at all so I don't see Carwin pulling much out if the fight goes that way.

Carwins near enough the same weight as lesnar though so has a decent chance of being able to get lesnar off him or even take lesnar down himself.Mirs much smaller and not as strong as either of them

Well he fights at 264, I know it's just a pound but if he cut down for fights he'd probably hit 265 on the button just to make weight, Lesnar cuts a tonne of weight though for fights and comes in a lot heavier than 265. Carwin doesn't look anywhere near the fighting size of lesnar, he's a big guy but not that big.

And yeah I'm not saying he doesn't have a chance because he does.

    :)

Hmm not at the minute, Rothwell imo was terrible, and velazquez should have finished that a lot earlier, but he did look a beast.

It's hard to comment because I've never seen Lesnar in a stand up battle, or see anyone man handle him because of his sheer size. He might have a jaw made out of crystal but with a head that big I can't see it lol.

And can any heavyweight handle lesnars pace, I dunno how anything that size could move so fast.

Yeah as long as Tito stops covering up his pretty boy face and gets stuck in like he used to.

The only time ive seen him fight was against Congo in Germany. He totally dominated him but just couldnt finish it. He got caught a few times aswell & was all over the place

He needs a few more fights before he should face Lesnar I think

I thought that about his last fight, he easily had the better of Rothwell, and had lots of clean punches go through but imo lacked that knockout power. And he had ample opportunity to go for submissions if he had that side of his game. I can't really see what advantage he'd have over lesnar?

So who will be next in line after carwin? I was sure cro cop would get it had he beat dos santos but there's no way in hell he's doing anything of note in the ufc now.
