    Getting CDJ's repaired

    Alright?

The tempo on one of my decks is fucked. Whenever you move the slider up or down, it does nothing to change the speed of the track. The Master tempo & the +10/100 button above are also doing nowt.

Does anyone know anywhere locally where I can get it repaired? I tried Aitken Electronics in town today but they said that id have to send it off to Pioneer which id rather not do as it'll no doubt be a massive ballache and canny expensive.

    Any help massively appreciated

the pitch broke on mine aswell mate, i took it to aitken and they looked at it and ordered some part/s from pioneer. It only ended up costing about £75 quid i think.

my other one is fucked now and havent got round to getting that repaired yet, think thats gonna be expensive, it switches on and just freezes!

Have you tried taking the cover off and cleaning it out? Sounds pretty basic but there is a chance it could sort it.

    Aye there is...

    Audio Video Services

    (0191) 209 2799

doesn't say that it does dj gear on the pioneer website but when I had a problem with my DJM800 they told me to take it in, something like a £50 deposit... They repair it then you square them up with the rest / they give you back the deficit. Give them a bell, see what there crack is.
