I'm not gonna put my door numbers on someone else's event, but I'll stick em on the magda event if you like.

Bizarrely i was literally just thinking of you when I read this, due to somebody sending me a video of you in a documentary in 1994.

    Have we ever fallen out?

16 years on we are still friends - Don't get me wrong - there have been moments along the way - in any kind of relationship (working or other) that spans a decade and a half that will be the case

Did he make the right move?

Who knows - hindsight is a wonderful thing - however he remains a powerful force in the scene - and many who took the dollar in 1994 can not say the same -incredible (hic hic)

    Did we make any money?

No - Not really - but we took the music to New York, LA, Paris, Berlin, Tokyo for the first time ever - which was a thrill and a half

Would I do it again exactly the same ?

    Fuckin straight

    Would he?

Dunno you would have to ask him next time he is at Digital in March

I just nabbed that from a jungle messageboard while looking for the "1994 footage" http://forum.breakbeat.co.uk/tm.aspx?m=1971763238&mpage=3&key=

I did find a really good/fascinating article about you & your label. The early 90's to mid 90's must have been hectic times for you.

Club Limelight & no one dancing early doors according to what I read did you think shit & then when the people got it breathe a sigh of relief?

Funnily enough it was Boxing Day 1994(no shit) and the place was fuckin heavin but the New Yorkers had never raved to Jungle (or much else) and so when the MCs, dancers, DJ's hit the stage they stood there like they were watching a gig - proper still - waiting for the end of the song so they could clap.......

We literally (and that is all of us - including me and me haircut) had to dive in the crowd and start raving till they got it
