UFC 101 *Spoilers* Having just finished watching this.. two things stand out for me.. Who is gonna stop Silva? Since hes fighting at 205.. that would mean a possible matchup with Machida.. who i think might trouble him.. but tbh.. I cant see anyone stopping him. The way he played with Forest was amazing.. and one of the most entertaining things i have seen over many years of watching mma. How quick was Penns pulling in of the rear naked?!? The heel kicks were clearly a distraction.. but **** me.. that was lightening fast. Amazing. Every now and again i get slightly bored with UFC.. as I did a little tonight.. but the headliners pulled it back out the bag for me
Totally forgot about this like By all accounts Silva is leaving the UFC, his contract is being allowed to run out. Loads of rumours about, including that he is taking up boxing!! All the results were pretty predictable, thought Forrest would have given a better account of himself tho
Considering forrest had the title only recently i think its only likely he gets a title shot although he says him and machida are like brothers and he wouldnt fight him. After that he can move up to heavyweight and bray the shit out of brock lesnar.
Knocking people out with a jab while your stepping backwards is impressive like, quality> I would love to see Silva Vs Machida but it wont happen I wouldnt of thought
I was gutted about ken flo. I think it showed the differance in class. BJ just stepped it up, took him down and then sunk the choke in. Rumour has it that forrest dislocated his jaw before the punch that "ko" ed him
Just been confirmed today that he didnt break his jaw He ran off like that after his last defeat, takes losing really badly by all accounts. Floods of tears etc
