As far as I'm aware myself and Jamie recieved a text saying that it had closed down, with no explanation as to why etc. Bad crack like!

sorry if you've already answered this in another thread, but where is VICE moving to?

I heard it second hand from somebody. Apparently they've gone bankrupt and had to close it down didn't believe it at first cause i'd heard nothing. Then tried calling and texting greg all day with no luck then i got a text saying we've given the bar up goodluck. Now im stuck with boxes & boxes of flyers and posters with the wrong venue on and out of pocket

Same here! Not an ideal situation for any night! Plus we had to find a city centre club with a min capacity of 300, on a saturday night, with just over 2 weeks to go. Onwards and upwords. will defo be down for this jamie

What a nightmare eh?? I only got a text late on last nite after hounding greg. Fortunately we hadn't shelled out on posters as of this point. Feel for you's who have spent full whack on promo materials like! Good effort with getting stereo secured though lads, u should still have a champion nite on your hands

i thought i'd put a little reminder on here.

Elements Presents.........Newcastles got talent is a night dedicated to showcasing local dj talent from the newcastle dance scene. From lads who are already playing at events around newcastle to all you bedroom dj's out there who haven't had a chance to play in a club infront of a crowd yet. every month we're gonna bringing you the very best fresh new talent that newcastle has to offer from all genres of dance music. so if your a dj or you know somebody who is and you think they might be intrested in playing at one of our future events why not get them to come down to our event @ Stereo on friday the 4th of september and bring a demo mix. every month there is gonna be 7 one hour set slots up for grabs like ive already said if you or any of your mates fancy playing at one of our events just come down on the 4th with a demo mix

well the countdown to our launch night has begun. This friday night see's some of the finest fresh new dj talent that newcastle has to offer converge on Stereo ( Sandgate , quayside newcastle upon-tyne) and there gonna be supplying you with some of the best trance / techno & hard dance tunes that are gonna be just orgasmic to your ears. This is gonna be a BIG night of music and is NOT TO BE MISSED!!!

doors open at 8pm and theres only a small entrance charge of £5 on the door all night so dont worry about the price going up if you wanna come to the event later.

once again every month elements will be offering 7 0ne hour slots to anybody who would like to be on one of our future lineups so no matter if your already playing at local events in newcastle or you've only played in your bedroom infront of your friends, if you fancy a chance at playing at one of our future events in a club infront of a crowd just come down to our event @ Stereo on friday and bring a demo mix

all genres of dance music welcome
