From imdb.com: Tarantino's original ending had Clarence dying in the gun battle, leaving Alabama a widow. Tarantino said that he intended Alabama to turn to crime and join with Mr. White, a character from Reservoir Dogs (1992) (which he wrote and directed). In a flashback scene in Reservoir Dogs (1992), Mr. White is asked about "Alabama". And can only find this which makes me think I've made up the attack bit: Between 1987 and 1989 he wrote for True Romance (1993) by director Tony Scott. Tarantino criticized the happy end Scott added later.
Can't wait to see this now like. Been waiting a while now for Tarantino to get back to his best and this sounds like he's hit the nail on the head.
class film. some mint tense as fuck scenes. The opening one and the basement one and even the one where shes in the posh restaurant and he orders her a milk lol.
Is Pitt really terrible in this? and you can really call True Romance a Taranitino film you muppetts.
Not as good as i thought it would be to honest. Too simple a plot, a good b-movie and funny but just seemed to lack substance.
Seen this now. Thought it was very good but not his best. That Hans Lander bloke ('The Jew Hunter') stole the show for me. Played an absolute corker. Would defo recommend it. 8/10.
