    Vicky Vegas - Ive got a Bedlington aswell, theyre the nicest dogs ever its like having another human in the house at times.

    On the subject of staffies even though they have a bad reputation as charv dogs a few of my mates have them and theyre proper affectionate, its the way you bring them up really.

    Our Bedlington is such a character! I totally know what you mean about feeling like there's another human in the house. Nelly is so cuddley it's ridiculous.

    A dogs behaviour is without doubt how they have been raised, but also their position in the pack. If you let a dog be 'top dog' then it will be unstable because it is constantly fighting to retain its status. I'va had English Bull terriers before, and they too can get a bed rep, but mine have always been the most loving a gentle dog, all be it clumsey and a bit stupid!

    I had a red Boxer - Hugo, he was mint! had to give him to a friend though as the youngn's skin was too bad and the dog hairs made it worse :(
