whatever you feel about that I can't help feeling depressed that I live in a country where 'playing music" and 'allowing dancing' can lead to a 6 month jail term or a £20000 fine.
No wonder people in Britain are the most depressed in Europe.
I watched a film about the Rio Carnival last night and the noise and fun and joy they have compared to our miserable lot is so stark.

it's getting worse - the whole ross/brand incident showed that... there's no free speech, humour isn't allowed and now music can't even be turned up.
