what happened to the goodgreef board i know this probably happened ages ago and im slow on the uptake but what happened to the goodgreef board? are they just offline to make changes or is that it gone for good? remember the old board wars
Not for a long time, went on it when it first started but never seemed to be any crack, even worse than this board
There's only ever me on whenever I log on, it's pitiful. I had trouble accessing it last week, I thought it had been blocked but I've been in ok today.
the crack tend's to be shit most of the time, however it's still running. if facebook and this shuts down i'm fucked for something to do other than watch porn and download music.
It was a good forum once. Barry (or whoever) done the right thing in taking it down. New members were tortured unless they knew certain people and GG line-ups were getting slated month in, month out. It had become a board of a few dozen or so regulars with predictable banter. Saying all that though, I'd like for it to be still up and running. lol
Gurn used to be wicked, nice friendly community, then it became really bitter and sarcastic, and the regulars that were there were going to other message forums (such as goth sites) and started to hammer people and reference the gurn board, t the point where gurn hosted a gurn.goths section on the forum whilst the operators of another site repaired the damage. i think after a while meza and rowan just got sick of the bitching and all the negativity and have more important things to do. at its worst the nastiness on there is unparallelled.
When it first started out it was full of fluffy cyber kids on their pill honeymoons talking about sandwich contents. As people got jaded with that it turned into possibly the funniest thing I've read on the internet and was completely unique. I'd say that "nastiness" was a virtue.
i wouldnt disagree but it scared people from going on the site and in turn gave it a bad name, blah blah. some of the stuff on there was funny.
