They dont need to touch the site imo, just remove the teritory restrictions on tracks, does my head in
Aye thats a nightmare, I wouldnt mind seeing the sample bit change to what djdownload has (full track)
I've even tried leaving the settings of my Mac in American, googling a post code & address of some random business over in the states, getting all the relevant details then signing up for a new Beatport account to try & get round it... never worked Lol
Dead on, you only have to looks as far as Audiojelly, DJ Download, Trackitdown to find the same tracks sometimes cheaper than Beatport.
That region thing only seems to apply on Beatport as well - if i go somewhere else (juno normally) i never get that problem? Beatport is a great site but it pisses me right off that they charge us more and refuse to give any explanation as to why. Fucking yanks.
Yip We did that a while back which converted how you pay to $'s, they soon cottoned on tho then blocked the account
Itunes are normally pretty good, sometimes even get exclusives on there, I agree tho Juno definitely is one of the better sites, one of the cheapest around also.
Agree with the pricing like should be the same for everyone... Doesn't this new beatport allow you to save tracks you want but aren't going to buy just yet in a different section from the crate, like the wishlist on juno?? It needs something like that.
Does anyone know how to change your country/region on this. All the tracks are coming up in American $$$ and now even tracks that I have previously bought are coming up with "Territory Restricted" - for example the whole Drumpoet Community catalgoue
will cost you less now since it coming up in $'s so its either get tracks cheaper or pay more and get the few that are territory restricted
