Stephen Carr retires. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11678_4576272,00.html 'The 32-year-old has decided to hang up his boots after failing to find himself a new club.'
poor triangle legs he used to prance up and down the sidelines all day!!! im surprised he never found a championship side to play for... 32 is a bit young to retire. I blame it on the 40inch thighs and the 5inch ankles.
a championship or league 1 side should deffo have snapped him up, even if just for the experience above anything else
Used to really rate him at Tottenham, its unreal how much he went downhill after signing for the mags.
you just like everyone else only remeber that belter he bagged against man utd, bar that he is the most non existent premier league footballer ever. is was and always will be turd
Not really like. I remember him impressing me whenever i caught Tottenham live or on match of the day (more or less every week at the time) and thinking that the mags had finally ended their right back issues when they signed him. How wrong could i have been
His positional sense was always suspect - anyone with a bit of pace skinned him like The Predator skins arse
he was good at spurs and even made the premiership team of the season back around 99. Did his knee in 2001 and was never the same player.
